It's amazing how you never forget the words to these old songs...

@eileenkabush Thanks for uploading this video. Good song. I was wondering if I'd ever hear it again. :)

@nicoleakalilqueenie My interpretation of a bojangle clock is the old wind up alarm clocks with the bells and gong on top........lots were thrown against the wal.........

This is one of my first favorite songs

I just love this song ..... Heard it when i was less than 10 years old and now i am already 47

Donna has an iconic voice in the same way that Karen Carpenter did. Beautiful and instantly recognizable.

i was going to the high school where she taught when she came out with this song

@eileenkabush - That would make her an 18-yr old high school teacher. Most likely she's 72-74 now. She graduated from the University of Southern California and was just starting her singing career when she met her husband. They were married about the time time I was a senior in high school or around 1966. She looks great for her age and particularly given her MS. She was the luckiest girl in the whole USA

Yvonne Vaughn aka Donna Fargo was my high school sophomore english teacher in 1964 yet according to her bio, she is only 2 years older than I am. She was a beautiful woman and a great singer but it alway galls me that despite all of her blessings, she still finds it necessary to take 8-10 years off her age. A few years back, one site even listed her as being the same age as I am.
