Testing drivers for the World Long Drive Championship

http://www.targetcenteredgolf.com Eric joined up with Leith Anderson and David Balbi to do some last minute driver testing prior to heading off to the World Long Drive Championships. The sophisticated radar system allows comparison between clubs to see which is performing best. We are testing some light-weight shafts and finding some interesting data points. Shaft making has become so much better in the past few years that it may now be possible to have the same consistency with a light weight shaft, and perhaps even see an improvement in distance. We combined inside measurement with on-site visuals to check the accuracy of the results. The good news is that the one or two clubs we saw with the best performance indoors also proved to be the best performers out doors.
