homemade deer feeder

how to make your own home made deer/wildlife feeder, without the sacrafice in price! steps:
1: get pvc pipe (hieght and size is your preference)
2: cut a 45 deg. angle at one of the ends
3: strap to a tree (rope,bungie cord, ratchet strap ect.)
4: fill with feed
5: use something to cover the top i use a coffee can
6: have fun watching your wildlife grow!

how many pounds of corn does 1 feeder hold.  does it take a 50 pound bag or can you fill up 2?

im not sure of how many pounds it holds but it usually takes about 6-8 coffee cans worth of corn. you have to keep in mind that the diameter and length will add to the amount of corn it will hold

Sweet idea. I use 6 inch corregated pipe. I buy it in 10' rolls for about 6 bucks. Also I buy a cap for it to keep rain out for about 3 bucks. Works great. I just cut it at what ever length I want and bungee it to a tree fill it and leave it. good hunting

if you put the proper fitting(y fitting) on the end and attached the feeder a little higher then you wouldnt have to worry about hogs.....

you must not have any hogs around.... they would empty that the first night...

Just paint it and you good to go,or wrap it in burlap that'll work too
