More than 100 local residents gathered on Clayton Fields on Saturday 8th November for the annual Guy Fawkes bonfire and firework display. The huge bonfire lasted for nearly two days and the 20 minute firework display was up to professional standard and much enjoyed by all. The traditional hot pork pie, mushy peas, baked potato and mint sauce, followed by parkin and bonfire and treacle toffee was served and much appreciated. The weather was kind to us as the wind and rain waited until the end of the display before asrriving!
A really good time was had by all!
