Awesome job Caroleena! Is that Sara Phoenix coming up after you?? This is Paige by the way. We've met a few times at the Pullen park hoop jams and other little events. You were going to help me fix my hoop but I didn't go to the jam after we talked about it back in... oh... late september?? Anyhow, I fixed it and have made myself some hoops since. And I've been performing! Hopefully we'll run into each other again soon!

Hey girl. I answered this a while back but I just noticed my answer didn't post. Basically I learned the basics of poi spinning and fire safety in about a month but I really applied myself with a goal in mind. Since then, it has proven to be a continuing study that I love but it is accessible and quickly. I just taught a 10 week course where everyone is doing very advanced stuff and integrating dance ... in 10 weeks. I wish I'd had that! It's wild to see folks excel at stuff that took me years!

Great spin. I really enjoyed it. It looked like you really wanted to move around a lot more but couldn't because of the size of the stage.

Feedback: Try spinning changing up the speed of your poi. It seems you were spinning nearly the same speed throughout the entire performance. You did a great job staying in tune with the music, but I would love to have seen you spin slower and faster in some parts of the spin.
