Umkin, this is AIS. This stretch method focuses on quick activation of muscles through a 2 second stretch repeated 8 times (3 series).
It's just a different approach that is very effective if you do it well and completely. The whole 8x/3 series.

Nice demonstration, but 2 seconds is much too short for stretching a muscle and you aren't showing even those 2 seconds!
