I'll admit, I had my griipes when I played this...but once I got into the story and all, I loved it. granted it's a bit too linear, and if your party leader goes down it's over(which blows), 13 is still a pretty kickass game. I think the battle themes make up for a lot of its shortcomings.

As much as I love the detail of the battles, there was a certain charm in the previous Final Fantasies, where my imagination could fill in for the visuals.

Its a lot more fun watching this than it is playing it.
It's not that the game is hard, mind you. As much as I bitch about the combat system, its only a tad difficult to pick up - but the system on top of how you upgrade is SO DAMN BORING, I have no desire between interaction with enemies, the interface, or the design of most battles to want to continue. My main motivation for this game is just following the story - which comes down to Fang and Snow, will they find their loved ones? That's all.

das wird noch richtig schwer später , wenn du gegen barthendulus kämpfen musst , vor allen wenn du ihm das 2 mal begegnest
