I believe Leyton had their feelings set aside for the sake of Brooke. Peyton wants to salvage their friendship and as for Lucas-it might be the easy way out-to uncomplicate things, so to speak. And Lucas chose Brooke to be the one standing next to him because he still couldn't admit that deep down, he never stop loving Peyton. Leyton doesn't want to loose what they had ultimately-even if it was just friendship. I'm just soooo glad Lucas was true to his heart-he chose Peyton.

@saltbreaker8 Yeah I totally agree, I am so glad that they end up together. I love Brooke, but I always felt that in the beginning she knew that Lucas and Peyton had something going on and she put herself in the middle anyway. She slept with Nathan, while he was dating Peyton and suddenly she is so hurt when Peyton admits to still loving Lucas.

It kind of annoys me that Brooke never got to know why Lucas and Peyton were at the mall together. I love Breyton and Leyton!

You know, before I started watching One Tree Hill I had no idea who Lucas was going to end up with. I didn't really care about the show back then, but I do remember watching season 2 & 3, and thinking Brucas was the main couple. Then when I actually started watching OTH from the pilot, I realized how wrong I had been. I knew immediatly that Leyton was going to end up together. I really dislike Brucas, there is a way too much drama and they can't go one episode without having an arguement.

yea towards the end of season 4 and the middle, they started to dress too similar for me...both in plaid shirts ...both w little thick band bracelets.
