This video was produced by Levees.Org with assistance from a senior government public policy class at Newman High School in New Orleans. The video was loaded onto YouTube on Nov 5, 2007 and the American Society of Civil Engineers (ASCE) promptly sent a letter to the fledging grassroots group and the high school kids threatening them with lawsuit if they didn't remove the video from YouTube. Flanked by two prominent law firms offering their services pro bono, Levees.Org rejected the ASCE's demand to remove the video from the internet citing Louisiana's anti-SLAPP statute. This law is designed to weed out lawsuits by giant corporations designed to chill public participation on matters of public significance.

Who knows if the governments blew up the levy??? One thing for sure, it WAS A SETUP!!! I was watching the news with my ex-boyfriend a week before in Montreal, Quebec, Canada. My ex was very mad and dissapointed he would never get to see and experience New Orleans because it he saw what was comming for them. So one week before a Canadian, watching tv, with less than a high school diploma was able to foresee this disaster. Where were all the professionals, ect???????
