I spent five years in school studying graphic design, typography, under the assumption so called clients give two shits about any of that, to land a job in a hip photo studio doing color corrections on bank of america souveneir junk catalogs at $8an hour. We would spend hours running proofs to make sure the red in the nascar bank of america key chain was crimson red or blood red or whatever. Advertisers and marketers are the worst people ever, next to cell phone salesmen, blah blah blah

@l33tpwnzord i am a human flash game. my beef is less with the practical nonsense of 'creative work' (such as trashing good shit based on details/client stupidity, and more with the fact that advertising/marketing is a gigantic industry that sucks up our best and brightest and it's basically all smoke and mirrors. on the list of reasons why we are not living in a rational utopia of eternal peace and clinical immortality, The Ad Industry ranks high. that's the gist of it.
