Nice vid, man. i'v got a XL-5 and geared it with a 23/76 on a 400kv brushless motor with 100A ESC. this is a nice car.
-
I got my 2wd stampede to do at least 75 on a traxxas 2s lipo way overcharged on a lipo charger.

I could only go 50 mph with my converyed 1998 to vxl stampede. So I am thinking about getting a 4x4 and put a 1/8 scale motor and gearing it way up. I wonder how fast out will go before becoming unstable. My converted vxl gets a speed ocilation at 50.

is this it completely stock just changed batteries cause im thinking about selling my 2005 emaxx and buying one of these any comments or suggestions
-
@kulangflow which is the old school method for NiCD, and it is the same to NiMH????
-
OK i need QUICK answer ! ! im about to buy the traxxas vxl system for my stampede butt !!!! does the motor ever wear out like stop working like the titan 550s?
-
That's odd my stampede does almost that fast if not the same or faster on a "single" 7.4 v 2S and is geared at 32 pinion 76 spur lol...
-
@RyguyCC I'm thinking about, once I get the money for it from racing at my local rc raceway then I'll probably get the Erevo brushless edition!

anyone seling one?
should i use saftey mode with a lipo or is there no problemo with saftey mode off?

@emzan98sandstreamer what do you mean by "safety mode"? If you are referring to the lipo voltage cutoff, then yes, you should use it to prevent over-discharge of your lipo batteries.

@kulangflow hello, do u always need to discharge your lipo batteri? plizz answer am new at lipos :).

@Mw2Gaming123 You should store your lipos at about 3.8V if you're not going to use them for a few days. You don't need to discharge them like old school NiCD batteries. Lipos have no memory effect.

max amps are very reliable

Unfortunately, I have 12 dead MaxAmps packs that indicate otherwise. Yes, they were all used within spec. Yes, I took perfect care of them. They were just bad packs, everyone of them.
