Bob Dylan - Queen Jane Approximately

Our cover version of this perfect folk rock masterpiece from the master himself, Robert Allen Zimmerman, sometimes known as Bob Dylan. From his incredibly, mind-blowingly brilliant 1965 album "Highway 61 Revisited", this song really is just a perfect example of what Bob was doing at the time; complex songs with a constant stream of surreal lyrics, angry and cynical yet sympathetic and compassionate at the same time. Really it is only something Bob Dylan can do, just this perfect marriage of beautiful music and beautiful lyrics. He seems to be warning the said "Queen Jane" that she is about to have a fall from grace, and all her friends and family will seemingly abandon her; and, despite her disbelief of his words, when she does fall from grace he is compassionate, telling her to "come see me" (which, co-incidentally, was the last cover we did ;D). Anyway who am I to try and decipher the incredible workings of Bob Dylan's mind, it is a brilliant piece of music whatever the lyrics mean. @dayofthegarbage Thanks very much man!! Yes I have to agree, although publishing companies are always going to be dictatorial about what they "own". If somebody makes music then really I believe what they are doing is making this music available to anyone who wants to listen to it.

Of course that's why there's so little mainstream talent these days; the record companies have taken over, and the focus is money, not music.
