5 SONGS ARE SHOWN IN THIS VIDEO:
(1) Train Kept A Rollin' - Aerosmith
(2) Maps - Yeah Yeah Yeahs
(3) Outside - Tribe
(4) I Think I'm Paranoid - Garbage
(5) Tom Sawyer - Rush

In each of these songs, there are phrases where you can save yourself the trouble of making a large vocal jump because the note in question (marked in all-capitals, italicized, and underlined in the lyrics description) is actually the same as the one immediately before or after it, just on a different octave. I'm sure there are other songs where this sort of trick applies, but these were the first examples I could think of.

All of these song clips were recorded during expert difficulty Practice Mode on the PS2.

  • anyway u dont know singing

  • I can't get high. If you know what I mean.

  • i have a problem i can only sing and change my octave i wish to avoid this so there for i must learn how to control my pitch, how do i do this?

  • i usually dont have a issue hitting mids and highs but when i have to get low i just cant ever seem to get there :/

  • @adamgamedude Uh... no. Having a deeper voice doesn't make singing more difficult. It just means you sing in a different octave. It's not like these songs are in the singer's natural key... she's much higher in general than most of these songs by mostly male singers. In theory they should be either just as hard if not easier for you as a guy.

  • piiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiii

  • you should add the song dead on arrival by fall out boy ont he part "Hope this is the last time"

  • I can't sing the low notes. That is nothing that I can do that low that fuc.king arrow.

  • i can play every instrument on expert but when I get to sing I suck sooo much

  • Thought I'd dig this one up, now that I'm back to RB1. This helped a lot, especially on "I Think I'm Paranoid" and "Tom Sawyer", especially preventing any choke on the very last phrase on the latter. Thanks! <3
