Exodus means "departure" and as you mentions its about the jewish peopel leaving lead by Moses, from the slavery in Egypt.

This song is from the movie "Exodus" made in 1960. The song if written by Elmer Bernstein.

@thomas500 Exodus, the movie is based on the novel by Leon Uris, it is about a real ship that transported many Jews to Palestine. In the movie,the passengers not only reach "the land", but they are part of the reborn of Israel in 1947 when the UN voted the partition plan. Wonderful story, a master piece and a classic, The theme was written by Ernest Gold.
