another curiosity Rachel; In the word "wise" ; is 'wi' a (consonant + diphthong) or a trithong?
speaking, I can hear three vowels.
I'm just asking because i'm brazilian and in portuguese it would be a "trithong".
so.

@j3ff1nho [w] is always considered a consonant (though it is a glide consonant, which can sound like a vowel, in this case [u] ). So it is a consonant followed by a diphthong.

rachel how would be the word "world" ? Is 'wo' a diphthong ?
if yes, is it in your list?
tks

@j3ff1nho No, it's not a diphthong. W is a consonant sound. I did do a video on that word though. If you go to my videos and search on WORLD, I think it will come up.
Best,
Rachel
