Armed Canadian Citizen - Victim Shoots Robber

On October 22, 2008, two robbers attempt to rob a jewelry store owned by Dennis Galloway. Instead of complying with their demands, Mr. Galloway takes out his pistol and fires at the robbers. One of the robbers is currently recovering from gun shot wounds, while Mr. Galloway and his wife remain unharmed. Mr. Galloway will not be charged for the shooting.

I guess you fare better in Alberta than Eastern Canada, a guy shot a handgun into the ground to scare off two guys who were firebombing his house and garage while shouting "You're gonna die"... and the guy was charged by the rcmp!

Its about time Canadians are able to defend themselves and their families. We should not be made criminals protecting what we hold dear to us from the true criminals.
