no offence but 300.000 civilians are incorect number, and russian empire have taking those lands 300 years ago. so it have been russian terretory for 300 years now. but if i rememberd right then it was 50% russians, ukrains, belarus and ingushetians population and % chechens and some others. but chechens started the war by kicking out or killing those who werent chechens or muslims. so basicli chechens/muslims started the war against russians and other muslims.
