@pluto4847 Glad you had your experience, subjective though it is. But you really seem to be missing the point, IMHO. This is about a literal reading of Genesis, specifically the flood story. And to put not too fine a point on it, it's simply not true. The careful examination of all the data in the rock record simply shows that such a thing not only DID NOT happen, it shows that if it did, the release of heat from the geologic and chemical processes would've permanently sterilized the Earth.

God is real. At one time I felt pure evil taunt me through the powers of darkness, and at other times I was filled with the joy of the holy spirit.
Its hard to describe the feeling of the holy spirit if you never witnessed it.
It is so overwhelmingly good and joyous. I can't even describe it in that way. I don't know a name for how it felt.
But it was so powerful I could not stop smiling. I just wanted to fall over in pure 'goodness.' Its wonderful.
