@ishouldplayzelda i know it's a radical comparison but it's all i could come up with. also i realize that both guys are dicks because he's probably a murderer but that eagle was killing the goat for food, not because it's some sick fuck who gets a kick out of shoving a goat off a cliff. it probably has chicks to feed. anyway it needs food so it killed it's prey instantly and probably painlessly. the eagle's not a dick, it's merciful

i don't understand what makes the eagle an asshole. the goat probably died instantly when it hit the ground. it could have killed it in a much lengthier and more painful way but it didn't.
here's a question for all of you calling the eagle a dick. who is more of a dick in this hypothetical situation- a guy who murders someone by shooting them in the head (instant and painless death) or a guy who slits someone's throat and lets them bleed to death (much lengthier and horrible)?

You people do get that it ate the goat afterwards, right? It didn't throw the goat off the cliff just because it was in a bad mood. It's probably a lot easier to carry a dead goat than a struggling, kicking live one, and at some point the eagle's going to have to kill it before it eats it. So the eagle, being smart, saves itself a lot of trouble and just lets gravity do the work for him.
