Nice washer! I had the 803 model with variable spin from 500 to 800 rpm... but it lasted only 14 years due to problems with motor and its control card... Replaced with a Miele W715 :-)

A machine with out of balance sensor would not even attempt to spin that blanket, it would skip the spin cycle.

Great video.I think it spins quiet enough.First noise is from water splashing.The drum doesn't move too much.Quiet spin with no balance control.I think machines with out of balance control would try to balance it twice or three times

Easy to see... oldSchool German Quality. Not a single chassis movement even without balance control thanks to the huge concrete plates. Great gear, my mom had a AEG years ago, similar model with brown faceplate and all the nice "clunk-clunk" controls. THANKS

and whats the orange light that was on mean?

'I' is the on switch, 'O' is the off switch, 1/2 button is for small washloads, 'E' is economy wash(60*), and the rest is for rinsehold with high or low waterlevel. The orange light indicates that the machine is ON!
