Stopped by ACPD for Photography 3/6/2008

Arlington County,Virginia "While waiting for a scheduled military fly-over" March 6, 2008 3:20pm Key Blvd @ Adams st. This is me getting stopped by the Arlington Cops(ACPD) While the Officer was running my ID in his computer I just kept filming the sky inhopes to capture the flyover, but it never came,sometimes they do get cancelled, however 2 more police cars showed up to try to stop me from filming in the area. I'm suspicious because I have a camcorder and one that's pointed at the sky. Thats bad when kids are in the area too. This is like the 12th time I've been stopped in arlington by cops about filming anything. I'm definately on the side of the police being that for 13 years I've wanted to be a cop and for a year now I've been a criminal justice student. But the whole photography thing not just in arlington but nationwide has got to stop.soon) it's not in law enforcement's interests to enforce non-existant photo related laws when all of this is perfectly legal...1.the side of the playground i was at was closed off(you may see a tarp covering the field on the video) 2. i was standing next to an "end school zone" sign 3. regular session was over by tht time any kids there(which i couldn't see any) would have been after school program kids,that i can't possibly know about them being there. 4. It's a publicly funded school. 5. it was a public street. 6. either way, fly-over or school kids,it's all legal to photograph/videotape, 7. the only rights violated were mine. 8. yes probabal cause was established, but by asking about it, i then know the officer is treating the incident as a criminal matter(which it wasn't) and me as a criminal(which i'm not).....did you hear this cop, "turn that thing off" i'm sorry but is arlington county a suburb of tehran??? "you have to have the chief's permission" what planet is this guy/department on??? "We know about you" wow, you should after 8 ride-alongs and dozens of times harrassing me and having off duty personnel threaten my life in person and over the internet!!!

as a criminal justice student and a 13year law enforcement supporter and follower, i have a million reasons to question every aspect as to why i was stopped,argue my side,proclaim innocence,and defend my self,etc.....
