RADIUM CITY NOW AVAILABLE ON DVD

Hello everyone- We have just been invited to partner commercially with YouTube, and are hoping to make many of our complete full length documentaries available here for viewing soon. We are offering Radium City here on our YouTube channel (soapbxprod) for free commercial viewing for a limited time to determine its popularity.
At this moment, Radium City is a unique case, as the dedication of the statue to the Radium Dial Girls will take place in Ottawa IL this September, and the DVD is currently being distributed and licensed to many libraries and academic institutions across the US.

Hello~ I am close to Ottawa IL and have been involved with the City of Ottawa and Laborers Local 393. We are PROUD to announce a Memorial site we are in the process of building to HONOR of these young Radium Victims. I saw this film on PBS many years ago . The girls were so hot from the radiation poisoning all that was needed was the xray film to be wrapped around them in order for it to develop.

Thanks for the note. I have since retired as a physics teacher and I left the video with the Department. It took most of my budget "in the day" to buy it, but it was worth every penny.

People in Lasalle county have been searching for scarce copies of this for years. I saw a LOT of cancer in my years as a nurse at Ottawa's hospital, and took care of one of the last living Radium Girls. Thanks for this documentary - I saw a bootleg VHS years ago and it has haunted me ever since. Bravo!
