when it Christmas, people should say Merry Christmas  not Happy Holidays....it pisses me off when people say Happy Holidays during christmas so people when its chirstmas say merry christmas not Happy Holidays...

It is impossible for me to understand WHY people should not say "MERRY CHRISTMAS" on the federally recognized & observed holiday which has CHRISTMAS as its name.

The US SUPREME COURT has ruled it has become so commercial as to not be relegious so what's the issue? If you are offended by someone saying MERRY CHRISTMAS you are wrong for the above mentioned reasons. "MERRY CHRISTMAS" to ALL!

There is a common sense answer to this question. The answer is both. If you know someone is Christian, then it's okay to say Merry Christmas. If you don't know whether someone is Christian, then you say Happy Holidays. Would you indeed say Merry Christmas to a Muslim, a Jew or an atheist?
