Don't know what these other two guys are talking about. I know that area well and he had plenty of room and it's a legal spot to be in. Nice catch. Thanks for posting it.

not a smart spot to be in!

I absolutely -love- the 844's whistle just about more than anything I've heard in a LONG time. Isn't it fantastic?? That has to catch a lot of people off-guard that don't know that steam engine is around, LoL!!

Why the hostility? there is no reason for it. A simple stay off the tracks attitude goes a long way, I work on the railroad and I've seen some crazy crap and my share of close calls of people on the tracks. The #1 rule of railroading : Expect movement from ANY TRACK any direction at ANY TIME. Think about that before next time you wanna be a jackass to someone trying to save your life or someone you love.

meanwhile a train from behind comes up and SMACK! The middle of a railroad track is NEVER a place to film a train PERIOD!

@Drewster327 Hey douchebag its single track on the Coast Subdivision; that track on the right is no longer connected to the mainline! If it was, then the Police officers present would have said something!
