Amusing as that line is, it's not pwnage because Gan Ning misses the point.
Cao Ren specifically complains about people who take pleasure in fighting. He neither says nor implies that fighting in general is Bad, Umkay? Therefore, it is not hypocritical for him to carry a weapon, especially because his actions throughout the game show a consistent dislike for unnecessary violence.
