segue to 'Babylon's Burning' by "the Ruts"

What I hate is that the soundtrack has never been released on CD. I don't know if it's because the film was not a box office success or what or if it's because it was a Robert Stigwood joint, but man, I'd love to see it released.

I can't figure out how Trinie Alvarado didn't become a major star. She was so good in this and in Stella

Great soundtrack on this flick!
This movie and 'Ladies and Gentlemen The Fabulous Stains' are priceless underappreciated gems...

The "Times Square" double-album soundtrack was definitely one for the ages. I loved that movie. No, I am not going to wax sentimental about the ugly, menacing, pre-Giuliani Times Square, having seen it for myself, nor am I going to ramble on about the lesbian subtext written out of the film. I'll just say I got a blast out of it, and the still-young Tim Curry was hot as hell as the rebel DJ.
Oh, and the song's so wonderfully un-P.C. Rush Limbaugh out to feature it on his show.
