He paid $275? wow. i got all the lessons and every single one of them ever made for free. it's called torrents. he paid that much for 30. i got 90 lessons.

I have the Piumsleur Approach Quick and Simple. If you actually try to learn and speak it, its EXTREMELY Easy. Pimsleur's Methods are very useful, and I can speak Japanese very fluently. The $10 is worth it trust me, Im already so Confident that I can fully learn the Language.

Pimsleur's is actually quite good, if you know how to use it. It'll get your pronunciation spot-on pretty quick, and it sort of gives you an intuitive feel for the language. Add in Tae Kim's grammar (and maybe a smattering of Tim's Takamatsu, if you can stomach romaji - I can't), Kanji Odyssey 2001 and a good dictionary, and you're basically set... Anki it up and start learning some vocab.
Personally, I'm not a fan of jpod101 but it's interesting.

@Xiledtiki No, "your" stupid. Pimsleur's Japanese I is on sale for $345. You're talking about Pimsleur Quick and Easy, which is completely different.
