  • is this mini-series available on movie disc/dvd/whatever they call it nowadays! I still call it ... video!

  • @squirell1952 I believe you can find it on VHS on ebay. I bought a DVD to which the person who sold it to me transferred the VHS. If you'd like to buy the DVD, you can go to ioffer.com and search for it. I bought mine from a seller in Australia.

  • I'm so torn. This role belongs to Deborah Kerr but I would quite happily watch Natalie Wood wash dishes or vacuum the living room rug. I'm so shallow.

    Very true.

  • @nema1218 I agree as well as others who kept their looks even in their 60's & 70's. Like Rachel Welch & Sophia Loren! WOW! I mean even in their 50's I'd still slept with them! Classic timeless beauties who didn't hit the booze too hard & kept their bodies fit.

Yes you are right, too many died during that time period. And Natalie seemed to get better with age while others like Marilyn Monroe and Liz Taylor went downhill fast.I thought those women, mainly Taylor, were over rated.

Natalie was the most gorgeous woman ever.

  • @nema1218 Ya she was a gorgeous woman, even in her late 30's & early 40's. It's always a dhock when we lose a celebrity young or even in their 40's early 50's in still pretty young to die. The early 80's we lost John Lennon, then John belushi & Natalie Wood. These were all huge stars, Belushi was only just 32 or 33. Stupid way to die & a waste of a great talent. He was going to be in Spies like Us & Ghost Busters! I truly believe Belushi hated being famous & had a death wish. Look it u

  • LOL, great scene.

  • Ah, that dress - still working its magic 30+ years on.

Was it a cold day in Hawaii when they shot this....?

It isn't widely known, but her middle name was Christivegot.

  • Sad she died so young. I remember watching this when it first aired. She had to be 39 or 40 in this, filmed in 78. Damn she was still hot. Yummy! I was 18 in 79 & would happily jumped her bones!
