Reading, PA Fire Department response from Ladder 1 and Reserve Engine 2 (running in place of Engine 3), view from the tiller cab, from the 3rd and Court station to 700 Block of Weiser St. A reported garage fire. First unit on scene (Engine 12) confirmed multiple working garage fires.
Note: Units had to redirect enroute due to a train coming across 3rd St.

Don't you hear the we,we,we,we siren going from the time the ladder left the station till it pulled up on the block? The Engine and the Ladder sometimes use different siren tones when they are taking the same route so drivers don't think just one truck is going through an intersection. The reason the radio is so clear is the camera was right next to it.

I know it may look like the Tractor lights are not on but they are. If you look closely in reflections of windows or off the paint of cars you can tell. There are no strobes on the back of the light bar; that would blind the tiller driver at night. There are no officers on any of Reading Engines or Ladders. Only the Rescue truck has a suppression LT.
