Such a motor would have a lot of force (torque would be the wrong word here because it's linear), but the precision of the motor is limited by the size of the pole pieces and the gap between them.

Not enought info aobut what we are seeing here. It makes watching quite boring, even I am shure that it is a fascinating device.
