if you keep it out of the light with a barrier algae will not grow. there needs to be water, nutrient to feed and light. remove the sunlight..
might not be algae. id check it under a microscope.

I ran a carburated engine with only HHO for 3 seconds before it stalled. I guess you need a 40-60 litre/per minute HHO generation rate to fully run a car. That calls in for overunity, which can be acheive using sharp 2000V pulse @ 48KHz using IGBT high voltage transistors.

bleach it dude !

its rust dude!!!

if you have chance to buy titanium as neg and stanless as positive.. you will be very very please wt the result.. but use only potassium hydroxide or sodium sulfate as electrolyte and use clean distill water

its the tap water in your local area.. use distilled water and add little bleach , and your electrolyte

The right 316 grade stainless steel causes NO corrosion. It is corrosion, and NOT algae. Listen to Scarecrow, He is right.
Sorry, but you looks like you are going to have to disassemble and clean it up probably with CLR to get that crud off.
Algae? Are you sure? Am surprised the little buggers could survive in the reaction.
Your green may be from zinc plated screws and/or copper in the soup. Did you notice corrosion on your contact points and screws?
As a rule you want to be carefull about mixing metals in the soup. Best to keep it all stainless steel either 304 or 316 grade.

everything in my cell is 100% 316 ( non magnetic ) stainless no zinc at all i ran the cell since then in vinegar/ rainwater and it clenaed up nice. the green was algae , i know cause i filtered it out after the video was shot. my tap water i dont get algae since my town puts algaecide in it

them is some tough little critters ... had no idea they could survive in that environment ...
normally when someone has that much gunk in their gadget, I just assume they mixed their metals and made a sludge puddle ...
guess you managed to get your gadget cleaned up and back together ... do you have any mileage improvments to report ???

ya they are toughf all right guess thats why they were the first living organisms on earth, any ways i gained 3.5mpg with no efie or pwm i plan to build an efie soon. 3.5 doesnt sound like much but i normally get 10mpg so almost 14 is a dream to me...lol
