Well said Pat--- For the last three years all we have talked about was getting Obama out!! Now that we have a chance some of these folks want to continue to go against our best chance at winning with Romney. Well said Pat; You hit the nail squarely on the head. But American politics as a whole is nothing but an opportunism and avarice for votes and seat. Gingrich is no exception and nor is it only confined to one party. The `two` parties are nothing but one crook party. There is no such thing as right or wrong in American politics; It is those who have got the bucks and the votes and those who have not and the latter ones are doomed

I love this commentary. Pat is basically saying...look Palin and Gingrich have to say crazy things to get attention. If Palin appeals to people as a dumbass lunatic, then Gingrich has gotta take two steps further into crazyville...nazi comparisons etc...
