David Hobson at Melbourne's Carols by Candlelight 2010

Here is our beloved tenor at Melbourne's Carols by Candlelight, Christmas Eve 2010, with his very special Christmas gift: this year he sings "Ding Dong Merrily On High", followed by (for the first time) the full, three verse version of his delightful "The Holy City". MAGIC!!!

Thank you David, and Merry Christmas to you and your family.

And to David's fans everywhere, many blessings on this Holy Day.

I've seen and heard David perform 'The Holy City' many times over the years, both on 'Carols' and live in concert, but this has to be one of his finest performances of it ever - truly magnificent - and 'Ding Dong Merrily on High' was pretty good, too! Bravo David!!

Absolutely magnificent David - I agree with jan2602, that his performance of 'The Holy City' was certainly the finest I have ever heard. So looking forward to hearing it in the Feb concert in Sydney. Congratulations David!
