Dynamische Simulation mit Autodesk Inventor 2008 Teil 5

Das Watt'sche Planetengetriebe. Und weil's so schön ist, wieder eine Baugruppe aus dem Buch "Wunderwerke aus Holz" von Raymond Levy, Hugendubel Verlag (Org. Titel "Making Mechanical Marvels in Wood").
An dieser Stelle oute ich mich dann mal als gelernter Tischlergeselle ;-)

y cudnt d main gear be replaced by a wheel and d arm cud b jst rivetted/pinned on to d main one?

@danielwills93 it will work...the trouble is finding a good use for it. Now the 2 limb systems can easily translate rotational energy into some sort of repeating device, like legs for a walking windup toy, the gears offer gear reduction so you can reduce speed and increase power. But I’d imagine an engineer would only put the gear reduction there if there was no room to put it anywhere else in the machine :(

it offers a 2 to 1 gear reduction but can’t see much other use.

it would definitely work nicely, if the axle is lubricated on the round shaft.
