Ichiro made a big hit with my heart when I first saw him in this video. He throws himself sideways to get out of the box, which, in my book, is not just super smart but super cute. He almost gets away with it until he's stopped by an unexpected phone call.

He's a shih-tzu, maltese, poodle cross. In short, he's a shih-tzu-ma-poo! The perfect dog! He's about 10-11 lbs so it's easy to take him to places and give him a bath. And he's big enough that you can be a bit rough and tumble with him. Also, he's non-shedding and hypoallergic so it makes it very easy to pet him and cuddle him. In short, he's the perfect dog!
