Sonic and Sega All-Stars Racing - Sandy Drifts Single Race with Aiai

I wanted to upload this Single Race video sooner, but I've been dreadfully busy with other things as of late (including a trip to see my older sister for Thanksgiving). I've only got nine more videos to go now...I'm going to do my best to finish these soon!

Sandy Drifts is one of the unlockable Super Monkey Ball courses, and its design is based off of the level design of the Super Monkey Ball series (particularly those that feature sharp turns and high drop offs). From the sharp turns of the course, one needs to have their character drift around carefully, when doing so, in order to avoid collisions that would slow the character down. When reaching the sandy part of the course, staying within the laid-out center part of the track will help to avoid the falling bananas before the jump across the gap. Before a steep hill with many speed boosts, there are monkey balls rolling around on dipping hills; drive around them carefully or use a weapon to get them out of the way. An updraft is present in the gap that proceeds the steep climb with speed boosts; this is a good opportunity to perform an air stunt or two. The various divisions in the path don't seem to be faster than its counterpart for the most part, but it seems that taking the right path after the second bridge will help one get to the finish line faster (if they drift tightly enough into the finish line).

This video was recorded from the Nintendo Wii version of the game. This track was set to the "Ultra Heaven" music, Advanced difficulty, and three laps. The Wii Wheel control scheme was used to play the game.
