it does affect the whole unit...second line of my post......"all necron units with a model within 6" .....what that is saying is that ...so i could have a three unit of 20 and have at least 1 model from each 6" from the lord, the unit gest wbb rolls as long as at least 1model of the same type

as said in the book....."the necron lord may augment the self repair systems of necrons within 6" of him. All necron units with a model within 6" (including the lord himself) may attempt wbb rolls even if they damaged by weaponry that cause instant death or close combat weapons that allow no armor save."...........so i take it i am playing my orb wrong.....i have been using my orb for only the unit he is with.....there it saying any model from any unit within 6" of him can get there wbb roll

no i sent you a mail that exsplained it you all you can use an orb for will vbe back from weapons that cause instand death i wiull resend you the mail. see the comments on the main page i will send you the mail again it dose not count for the 6 inch will be back rolls.

right but it effects modles not the hole unit, you have been doning it as a unit 6 inchs not per modle in the unit. . but yes you were right about how the orb works.

orb works for any WBB roll, AND lets you roll against weapons that normally would be an insta kill.

no it dose not see the post left by dungonmaster38. on my main page under comments. it only works for instand death dose not count for the 6 inch will be back rule.

I will have to check the FAQ, maybe it was changed at some point. It used to work for both.
