Nice pickup I have 79 just like it - the lift, my question is Np205 is it ala time all wheel drive? I have to keep mine in high lock cause I cant get the gear shift to go into the other gears

I love driving on the beach. My stock height/suspension/tire 93 Suburban does not go nearly that well though. Will that thing go in 2wd on the sand?

Oh yeah, as a matter of fact I don't even use 4wd until I go to pull out of the holes (when the back is sunk) I run 2wd, hubs unlocked, but in 4lo. That way I get low gear in the tcase(so I dont heat up the tranny) but only the rear tires are spinning. If I need 4wd I just lock the hubs

What smoke are you talking about? And the mileage info, honestly the truck has never had a speedo that functioned correctly. Besides, that is what the tach is for!!!!! hahaha
