HTC Sensation XL Review Part 2

It's not coming to the United States, but if you're looking for a nice Android phone to purchase unlocked, the HTC Sensation XL could be the phone. Packing a 1.5 GHz single-core Scorpion CPU, Sensation XL has a 4.7-inch Super LCD (WVGA) display, 8-megapixel camera with 720p HD video recording, a front-facing shooter, 1,600 mAh battery, and Android 2.3.5 with HTC's Sense 3.5. It comes with Beats Audio built in, so you'll get a pair of iBeats headphones along with the usual accessories.

Despite the single-core processor, the Sensation XL is a zippy unit that performs better in day-to-day tests than US devices like Verizon's HTC Rezound and AT&T's HTC Vivid. Is it worth buying unlocked (and unsubsidized), or should you wait for the devices from CES? Part 2 of 2.

this phone kinda supports apples thing about not worrying about the specs and interior. If the phone doesn't lag and runs fine, then it runs fine. just simply forget about the specs and enjoy the device

the reason this is faster than the rezound, is because it runs sense 3.5, which is optimised for better performance for single core processors

This phone should chance how people think dual-cores/quad-cores are what makes a phone good/fast. This phone functions better than any other HTC phone so far.
