Well, I won't argue with you about your taste in music or what food tastes best. 261 seemed to like it, 14 not. :o) He's bad in this video to be honest but I like them a lot. Pop Punk is a meaningless label like liberal or conservative. I recommend Bad Brains, Descendents, TSOL, Circle Jerks, Hüsker Dü, Agnostic Front, DOA, Bad Religion, if you want less 'pop'. I will check out your bands. Please recommend other bands, too you think are talented. I hope I won't be disappointed. ;-)

I know what Punk is... check out the Birthday Party or New York Dolls. Proves you can have good punk music by good musicians. I'm not ripping on punk music, just Fat Mike. Not into this "Pop-Punk-Rock" garbage. GHB/Exploited/New York Dolls/even New Model Army are much better. IMHO, this band isn't even listenable in comparison.

Do you know what Punk Rock is (kinda):

1.) People talking random nonsense because they're too fucked up and yet be able to play and have fun; generally having a healthy "fuck you" attitude.

2.) Good music by bad musicians.

3.) They don't give a shit about appeasing their fans and are not the slaves of a record label owned by a big multi-billion dollar conglomerate.

4.) Seems like you are taking things far too serious. Are you sober?

Looks to me like Fat Mike doesn't care about Nick Cave either positively or negatively and he was just saying something politically incorrect to piss Mr. Cave's fans off.

Looks to me like Fat Mike wishes NOFX had some of the talent Nick Cave has in one of his fingers. Even the chaotic sound of Nicks early band The Birthday Party sounds 100x more talented than anything NOFX has put out.
