  • I love this! The argument that fresh organic foods are more expensive is insane! People need to start growing and it's SO CHEAP! The argument of "no room" is crap too... you may not be able to have a outside yard garden, grow in pots, grow on your countertop, etc. The argument of "cold weather" is also dumb...growing inside is a large option! I wish more people would see that as the economies of the world get into trouble we need to count on ourselves to feed, clothe, etc not stores!

  • I do not agree that it is cheaper to BUY onions and potatoes, completely incorrect, have you ever had a bag of potatoes that you bought go to seed, full of eyes? PLANT THEM! One 5 pound bag of seed potato wil give you pounds and pounds of harvest.

  • just like every banana you eat in america

  • just like the Victory Gardens in WWII

not only cheaper its safer healtheir

do you want your tomatoes to come from a 3rd wold country 5000 ~1000 miles away ? that ain't green

  • Windowsill spinach, in an old plastic mushroom tray and some potting compost works great. You can also try sprouting.
