ill take therear hatch off of that jeep so i can make mine look pretty and then ill go park my jeep infront of the white house and leave a nice roasty to show the president that he screwed for getting rid of this jeep. this is a shame. dirty rotten shame.

Yeah man these jeeps are great. They are built to last. If something breaks down, like the transfercase Visco (they DO in the NV249...) You just go buy yourself a Nv242 Selec trac and youre good to go.
Great engines and the interior of the 5.9 is just adorable with all the leather details and smooth well built dashboard and details. Awesome suspension too, for a stock! rear articulation rules for a stock Jeep. Mine came with a T-case skidplate aswell and now its got a winch, too!

@Dotchetter DAMN a 5.9? I can NEVER find one! I'd love to get one, have it ported and rebuilt, smack some 30s and go climbing... I plan on replacing my 5.2 with a ported one

I dont get the point of cash for clunkers. Sure people get new cars and get more money than the car was worth, and then they lose their jobs and then what? No vehicle for them. I am only 18 and I think its ridiculous to have to get rid of older cars
