Donora - "Shhh" - My UK Trip in Less Than Three Minutes

My recent trip to England encapsulated in less than three minutes, thanks to the wonderful song "Shhh" by the band Donora (used with permission).

I went to England to be the videoographer for Luke and Lottie's wedding (which was a pirate-themed wedding held in the caves underneath an 768 year old pub in downtown Nottingham).

I wanted the video of the trip to be different from any travel video that I had seen before. I hope that I was able to pull that off a bit.

-Luke and Lottie for being such wonderful hosts.
-To my dear friend Bryony (paperlilies) for taking time out of her VERY busy schedule to hang out with me.
-To Greg (justpassnthru) for being a fellow US ambassador with me.
-To the Band Donora for permission to use such a great song.
-And to an unknown good-looking couple for "making out" in front of Buckingham Palace in such wonderful lighting that is seemed staged for a music video.

That was a great idea to mouth the lyrics, I didn't consciously notice that before. I also like how you blend everything to that one song, the statue of the couple embracing at the beginning foreshadows the real life coupe. I love all the people snapping cameras. It's just great. :)

Thanks for noticing the foreshadowing. That WAS on purpose. I also ended the video with a couple (Lottie and Luke). Trying to keep the words of the song relevant within the context of showing my travels was the desired theme. And thanks to the anonymous couple, that became a possibility.

I haven't been back to the UK since 1992 ... My friend runs the Lizard Point Light House, so I know where I'm getting a free room :P .. hoping to go next year :)

What's a person gotta do? I KNOW for a fact it was shot in HiDef and that you're a "partner" in good standing... so what gives?

lol! Loved the ending! After the 7/7 terrorist attacks over here it's actually hard to film a lot of things without the police stopping u - usually they get you to wipe your tape! The editing on this was awesome - makes home feel a lot more peaceful :-)
