  • @MsHempoilsoldier sorry you feel this way about this method for making a 'faster' version of puff pastry... I'm sure if you searched around a bit you could find many other methods which would better suit your needs...

  • thanks for the comment siaojonna! This recipe works especially well with salmon, so you are in luck. You do need to use a hot oven though, otherwise the butter in the pastry will just melt and the pastry won't rise. I would suggest laying some herbs on the dough, then the salmon, then something like mushrooms, wrapping tight. Refrigerate for about 30 minutes, then bake in hot oven - ca. 400° F for about 18-20 minutes - the pastry should be golden. Let me know how it turns out...

  • Awesome vid cheers ;) I like it a lot

  • @subster081275 thanks :)

  • What are the amounts used?

  • @KoolGaal the complete recipe is found in our blog - the link is in the description just under the video...YouTube prevents me from placing the link in comments...sorry!

  • obviously you have never made real puff. I hope people see your method for what it is...WRONG

  • is it ok if i bake it for like 20-30 mins in 200F? im using it to wrap my salmon on pastry. pls help! its my first time to bake.. pls pls pls..?? great vid by the way, i only understood the recipe with your vid, others were way long!

  • The ingredients you will need are 100 gr. bread flour (I use a white spelt flour), 100 gr. all-purpose flour, 200 gr. good quality sweet butter (unsalted), 3 gr. sea salt and 75 gr. cold water. Remember, the ingredients are really important to produce a tasty final product.

This recipe will produce about 500 grams of quick puff pastry…so, let’s get started…hahaha

  • @Zhaquiri you have to be quick :O and try to touch it with your hands the minimun as possible... you could mix the butter and the flour on a blender so it doesnt melt and do the rest by hand.. :) good luck~
