The concert special LIZA'S AT THE PALACE.... captures the powerhouse entertainer Liza Minnelli at the peak of her form, performing her legendary hits at the Hollywood Theatre in Las Vegas MGM Grand hotel. Coming to Las Vegas after a triumphant New York run (which played for five sold-out weeks and won a Tony Award for Best Special Theatrical Event), the public television show features material performed on Broadway, including "New York, New York," "Maybe This Time," "Teach Me Tonight" and the "Palace Medley." Minnelli also performs a show-stopping, affectionate tribute to her godmother, the late Kay Thompson -- a groundbreaking singer-dancer, songwriter, vocal arranger and musical director / vocal coach at MGM Studios. Minnelli is joined on the program by her Broadway co-star and musical director, the talented pianist, singer and composer Billy Stritch.

You bitch! Liza had a terrible stroke. Her doctors told her that she'd never sing or dance or even talk or walk again. She was crushed and totally despondent. But she thought about her mother and watched her father's films and through sheer might and a miracle she pulled through and now she's back on top. The Queen of Pop! I love Liza, I saw her in concert last year and she was fabulous. Liza may be 63 but she can still sing and dance like a woman of 40. I love you Liza.

  • well shes 63 had 2 hips relplaced had polps removed on her vocsl cords was told she would never walk talk dance or sing again in 2001 I THINK SHE IS WONDERFUL LIVE YOU LIZA

  • @RicASpur My, my. Exactly which 12% would that be?

  • I just discovered Liza Minnelli and I'm LOVING her!.....What's the name of this song she performs?

  • Just bought my ticket for when Liza comes to Dallas, TX. in Oct. 2010...Can't wait, this will be my 3rd time to see her in concert.

  • The politics of about 12% of this country will keep my Liza from ever attaining any national acknowledgement that she deserves. She is too attached to the old school ways and memories of the past. This would offened the 12%, Plus they still think she robbed Diana of the Oscar, which she didnt. Liza earned it as well as everything else she has done.

  • Liza just ROCKS! after everything she's bee through. Being told she would never sing or dance again! Look at her! Totally deserved her tony for this! Compared to artists today she has nothing on them talent wise.

  • I'm so happy to sp watching and listenee her perform again...i had a chance to watched her in south Lake Tahoe...grew up listening to her music...Love you liza!

  • Mrs Patrick cambell, from I know, was very close to Judy, so I think that it is in the best interest of all of you to respect her and to heed what she has to say. It's an honour to have you on Youtube:)
