  • so does the ICE actually go all the way to Paris? does it stop at Gare d'Est? does France actually have the same track gauges as Germany?

  • yeah the ICE took me all the way from Frankfurt to Paris. We arrived at Gare d'Est...the trip took around 3 and a half hours.

    and the track gauges must be the same...i guess.

    I agree, they are much more comfortable than TGV's. You can't even compare it (...and the ICE-Velaro is the fastest existing serial train also...)
