In September 2007 I was commissioned by Historic Royal Palaces, London, to build in Second Life a prototype model of the Tower of London as a proof of concept within the framework of their marketing strategy for the real-world Tower.
The design and build--from our first day of taking photographs to the day the last brick was put in place--was completed in six weeks.
Although I supervised the work, full credit must deservedly go to the magnificent team of students who built the Tower: Razart Hasaj, Ioannis Pomonis, Spyros Nicolaides, Richard Poulsen, and Mahdi Salehi.
