Starting Miami Heat point guard Mario Chalmers showing why he was the steal of the 2008 NBA draft. Chalmers, 6 foot 1, 190 pounds, averaged 10 points, 5 dimes, and nearly 3 boards as a rookie for the Heat, and is one of two rookies to start every game in the regular season. Alongside Dwayne Wade and Mike Beasley, Chalmers led the Heat to the 2009 NBA playoffs. Many know Chalmers from his 3 point shot against Memphis in the national championship but he is now making a name for himself pretty well in the league. Out of high school, Chalmers was a Mcdonalds All American and the number one rated point guard in his class. He led Kansas to three Big 12 regular season titles, and three big 12 tournament titles, and a national title in 2008. Chalmers was the most outstanding player for the 08 final four. Chalmers is known for his defensive ability, and clutch performance. Chalmers went to Bartlett High School where he won the Alaska basketball player of the year three times.

  • yah, so chalmers had #6 and changed it so LeBron could come. Sometimes they change it for free or they buy it off them

  • @kawarulz yah, your right

  • HAHA the ref clapped when chalmers got the block at 1:28

  • mario is like the rondo of miami not one of the big three but does a shit load for the team

  • It's me!!! Mario!!!!!!

  • Mario Chalmers is one of my favourite players in the league. He's not a typical point guard, and I mean who needs to run a team when you have Dwyane Wade & LeBron to do it instead? He fills his spot in the team well as a 3PT shooter and makes some great passes and plays great D when he's needed to.

  • i was expecting super mario song..

  • if this kid get more time on court, he will be as good as rajon rondo!!

  • He should get more game time and definitely start and now he'll have some nice backup in norris cole

  • You like Mario. You don wanna know. Why talk shit about Scotty Reynolds? He was a better player than you.
