Rocco our majestic chow likes to pick on his brother while he is trying to rest. Sometimes this type of dog fighting goes on for 10-15 minutes. This time I could only catch a couple of minutes. You can get a sense of how quick and strong these dogs would be in a life and death fight. Believe me, this type of play is nothing compared to when they get pissed off at each other over food. We have to separate them when we feed them, otherwise we may end up paying for vet bills. Theses dogs with humans do not have a mean bone in their body (at least ours do not).

  • Wow, their both beautiful Chows. Your cinnamon male resembles mine so much it's scary, hes about 75lbs though. It sounds like an earthquake when he zooms down our hallway, lol. Great video.

  • Yes beautiful dogs. My Cinnamon is about 78lbs. Very loud when they get running on the hardwood floors. Thanks for watching.

  • are chow chows good dogs, I mean does all that fur makes them good cold temperature dogs, and I've hear they had a tendency to be violent and not listen ?

  • The cinnomon chows typically grow an extra layer of fur... Our black chow gets cold sooner. Your correct... 50/50 crap shoot. The cinnomon dosn't listen. The black one is like the good child. Listens and follows... Can't get rid of him. These dogs have food aggression. Don't feed them together, or they may lock onto each other. Their only violent if you raise them that way. They do get more protective of family around ages 7 and up. Great security dogs...Only bark when something isclose

  • at first: you have two wonderfull chows!

and i have a question. how old are there and how much do they weight?

  • The cinnomon chow weights 78lbs... Biggest chow we've owned. The black chow weights 53lbs. Ages: 7 and 5

  • can you get chow chows in Australia or isn't it good for them in hot climates

  • The black one looks like my chow chow. Do they ever knock anything down? They sure are close to the vases.

  • To prevent dogs fighting over for food, I heard a dog owner say that when you give the dogs their food, it should always be given in the same order. one dog always gets it first, another always second, and so forth...don't know if it actually works.

  • i love animals but one of these bit me on the arm during a serious fight it was so sore i felt like killing it

  • lol my chow simba does that, he's 13 weeks old.

  • dont they get rough later? my dogs sometimes start out playful but then quickly get mad if one doesnt give away (aka let the other have the upper hand/do what he wants). theyve always been like that despite us punishing them and saying no.

is it because of hormones/gender? our girls fight with girls, boys fight with boys, but never girls fighting with the boys. help?

  • @TheRandoms234 It's not like they're really fighting. They're playfighting.

  • yep thats the right thing to do just grab your video camera...

  • the cutest chow wins. let the fiiiiiiiiiiiiight begiiiiiiiiiiin!!!!!

  • Our chows play just the same and run round and round the lounge room chasing each other esprcialy when I clap my hands, Your chows are obviously very happy and comfortable with you. They are so different chows I don"t like calling them dogs because they are so very different!
