Pre-Abba fame Agnetha was a successful solo artist in her native Sweden. In 1972 she had a Swedish number 1 single with her Swedish language rendition of I Don`t Know How To Love Him from the musical Jesus Christ Superstar . She starred in the Swedish production as Mary Magdaline.
My favourite interpretation of this song.

  • This is the best singer there ever is and always will be !!! Her voice is so amazing, and she sounds like an angels. Listen to Dancing Queen, It is powerful and makes u want to dance, listen to this, it makes u relax, and if u listen to the winner takes it all, it makes u cry. My love, My life. and etc.... Nobody can sing like Agnetha, and she is so caring !! I love her so much. :) ...

Thank you so much for uploading!

  • I agree -- sweet, angelic voice that crescendos to an unbridled, raw power, still with her tight vibrato and perfect pitch. I turned this up and it took my breath away. Then back to the sweet, angelic voice. She does an encore of this crescendo later in the song. And she's only 22 at the time. Absolutely heaven sent. Nobody did this song better.

  • @EnoVarma I don't understand Swedish, but I think this song sounds incredible in Swedish! I think this is the best version of this song I've ever heard! :-)

  • @ 1:39 the album cover has "Slutet Gott"- I doubt it means what it appears to, and @ 1:55 it looks like Miss Piggy influenced Agnetha's makeup artist, then @ 2:05 the devastating "over the shoulder" look that could just melt a guy right into his socks. @ 2:10 she looks like she really could be related to George W. Bush... she appears to be "sans makeup"... @ 2:43 I have to remind myself to breathe, she's so beautiful.

  • I've seen some garbage comments on YouTube before but the one by the guy who typecasts blondes yet claims to respect spirituality takes the cake. Agnetha will always be remembered as an incredibly talented performer. She gave the music industry and her adoring fans a million times more than she could ever expect to get in return.

  • still luv agnetha faltskog's singing her heart out ! she cares for the singing world !

  • @khuggf I see women walking down the street everyday that I'd like to F@$%, but I don't "idolize" them ...I'm sure Abba sold nearly 400 million records solely on the basis that Agnetha is blonde

  • Wonderful singing, but Swedish (which I understand) just sounds odd...somehow clunky or forced.

  • Agnetha was spoiled early on.

  • I love Agnetha Faltskog.

  • @dragontooth81 If you knew anyone who was a musical genius while grew up - they knew her name and respected her work - all around the world. Abba was HUGE in Michigan in the 70's with both young and old - and regardless of what you think of her lovely face, her voice is a treasure. Abba was also widely "hated" by those with a more narrow musical taste, but they were certainly a household around the world (and still are) which was good enough for her.
